（11）博学之，审问之，慎思之，明辨之，笃行之。
Learn extensively, inquire thoroughly, ponder prudently, discriminate clearly, and practice diligently.

（12）不登高山，不知天之高也；不临深渊，不知地之厚也。
One can never be aware of the height of the sky or the depth of the earth,  if he does not climb up a high mountain, or look down into a deep abyss.

（13）不闻不若闻之，闻之不若见之，见之不若知之，知之不若行之。学至于行之而止矣。
It is better to hear something than not to hear it; still better to see it than to hear it; still better to know it than to see it; still better to practice it than to know it. Learning will not stop until it is put into practice.

（14）不义而富且贵，于我如浮云。
Wealth and rank attained through immoral means are as empty as floating clouds to me.

（15）不知则问，不能则学，虽能必让，然后为德。
It makes a moral man to ask for what he doesn’t know, to learn what he can't do and to restrain himself from what he is capable of.

（16）沉舟侧畔千帆过，病树前头万木春。
A thousand sails pass by the shipwreck; ten thousand saplings shoot up beyond the withered tree.

（17）出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖。
I just love lotus for it having grown out of muck without being defiled. It stands erect in waters, fair and graceful.

（18）锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土。谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦
Hoeing a rice field in the noon-sun glare, I drop my sweat to the rice root. Of those who have meals, how many realize the hardship contained by the grains in the bowl?

（19）春色满园关不尽，一枝红杏出墙来。
The entire garden was filled with a spring atmosphere, while a branch of red apricot sprawled over the fence.

（20）大道之行也，天下为公。
A public spirit will rule all under the heaven when the great Way prevails.
